First Thursday: Conflict Kitchen

Artists Jon Rubin and Dawn Weleski discuss their collaborative project, Conflict Kitchen, a restaurant whose menu draws from regions in diplomatic or military conflict with the United States.

Conflict Kitchen operated in Pittsburgh from 2010 to 2017 and included food and culture from regions such as Afghanistan, Palestine, and North Korea. This event is made possible through the Ellen H. Johnson Endowed Fund for Contemporary Art.

These free programs are presented in the King Sculpture Court, followed by a reception. Galleries remain open until 7:30 pm.
